Anatomy Sketchbook: Bones

In the winter of 2007 I was a senior at the College For Creative Studies and I was in search of a new challenge that would take me back to my roots of Illustration and Fine Art so I enrolled in the most rigorous class our school had to offer: Anatomy. The class presented an opportunity to learn what has always been a large inspiration for my design work the anatomical structure of the human body. It taught me proportion, function and delicacy because it gave a true idea of what I would be designing around when I entered the footwear world. The section you are viewing now is a small portion of my sketchbook that focused on the skeleton and the 206 bones of the adult body.
