Welcome to the very first Form, Function & Philosophy Podcast!

I called my good friend JF Fullum, Design Manager of the Innovation Studio at New Balance; to discuss his RC5000 racing flat. The shoe weighs in at an incredibly low 3.2 ounces! It isĀ unbelievable. When I received the package of shoes I seriously didn’t think there was a product in it, it is that light. My favorite detail on the shoe is the welded upper, they created a new process for the weld and it is so flush it looks like it is woven.

Anyway, sit back and relax and take in some seriously great information from JF about an amazing product. And go pick up a pair!
