Go To The Converse Block Party In Philly This Weekend!

I have already shared with you my amazing experience at the Converse Block Party in DC during the World Basketball Festival. Now it is time for you to experience it yourself. This time in Philadelphia!

From 1PM-5PM on August 4th at 5235 Chestnut Street you will be able to take in Converse’s grass roots effort of bringing the community together around the game of basketball with art and music that coincides with the relaunch of the Converse Pro Leather. The original basketball shoe worn by Julius “Dr. J” Erving, who will be making an appearance there as well.

Along with Dr. J will be one of my favorite artists Stalley who will be performing twice that weekend for Converse.

On Friday night August 3rd, Ubiq Life will host a party celebrating the launch of the Pro Leather that will feature not only Stalley but DJ Young Guru. To say that I am completely jealous and bummed that I won’t be attending a party where I would have a chance to speak with Jay-Z’s sound engineer is an understatement. So don’t be like me and take in the party from 8PM-11PM at 1509 Walnut St.
